Gomadare sesame and dashi sauce is a popular dip alongside shabu shabu – Japanese hot pot. Shabu shabu is often served with thinly sliced beef, vegetables or seafood which is cooked in boiling water. 

This thick and creamy sauce is made with white sesame seeds. The seeds are crushed with traditional dashi – made with kombu seaweed and bonito.
