Mill & Mortar Organic Coarse Liquorice Powder, 45g New

Coarse liquorice powder adds a distinctive flavour to sweet and savoury dishes. You can use it as it is or make a syrup with water and sugar. 

Liquorice powder adds sweet notes of aniseed to baked goods and desserts. It’s very strong, so use it sparingly. You can add the powder to cake batter, cookie dough and even ice cream. It’s a unique addition to chocolate chip cookies and creamy custard.

Liquorice powder can also be used in savoury recipes. Try adding it to a rub for rich meats like pork and duck. Or, use it in a sticky glaze for roasted carrots.

Mill & Mortar sources their liquorice from Calabria in southern Italy. It’s PDO certified and has a bold, bittersweet taste.

Store in an airtight container in a dark, dry place.
