Chocolate Detective The 12 Cuckoo Chocolate Eggs, 150g Hot

Chocolate Detective’s cuckoo eggs are a truly beautiful gift; delicate, life-like and with a fabulous flavour.  

Open the box to reveal 12 eggs with speckled white and brown shells. They’re wonderfully realistic but the shells hide a sweet surprise. Inside, you’ll find layers of milk and dark chocolate. Six eggs are filled with smooth salted caramel. The rest are filled with a rich hazelnut praline.

The eggs are made in France using bean-to-bar couverture. The ethically produced cocoa comes from a large farm in Ecuador.

The recyclable boxes feature colourful bird illustrations. The artwork is by British artist and illustrator Madeleine Floyd.

Madeleine writes, “The female cuckoo has an anti-social reputation, known to oust innocent songbird eggs from their nests, replacing them with her own.”
